Powerful SCADA/HMI Generator
P-CIM for Windows, the advanced SCADA/HMI
application generator from AFCON Software and
Electronics Inc, is cruising along the "information
highway" with its latest product P-CIM for
the Web.
It's no secret that the World Wide Web is
an inexpensive and practical alternative to
traditional client/server based applications.
The Web provides the web client with immediate
cross platform support.
It's also no secret that tool development
for Web-based applications cannot keep pace
with today's ever-changing technology. P-CIM
web provides the optimal solution for client/
server SCADA/HMI application systems distributed
over the web.
SCADA Application
P-CIM for the Web enables transmission and reception
of SCADA data through the Internet (or Intranet)
to any computer terminal equipped with MS Internet
Explorer 4.0 or above. P-CIM for the Web uses
the World Wide Web - or your corporate intranet
system - as a communication medium to any authorized
client, anywhere in the world. By placing the
brunt of complex applications on a dedicated
server and running the applications on 'Thin
Client' workstations, P-CIM for the web provides
an effective and inexpensive alternative to the
traditional Client /Server architecture of SCADA
applications.
If you are already running P-CIM for Windows
on a Windows 95/98/ME or NT/2000 station, you
